Magical Performance of Aladdin!

Congratulations to the Sacred Heart School Transition year class of 2022-2023. Once again the sheer talent of our young students was on display during their latest school musical production of Aladdin Jnr.

Ciara Mongan played the loveable, poor street urchin Aladdin with great enthusiasm and is most definitely on the road to greater things as her acting, singing and dancing skills were amazing. Our fun loving Genie played by the ever smiling Hazel Carthy was a joy to behold throughout the show.

Lily-Kate Carley as Jasmine stole our hearts as she fought to rule the Kingdom in her own right, and with the full blessing of her father the Sultan, played by Sophie Herbert. The evil Jafar and comical Iago were a wonderful act together as the audience warmed to the antics of both characters in the show. Aladdin’s sidekicks Babkak , Omar and Kassim played by Emma Wheeler, Lauren Heavey-Kirk and Saoirse McDermott were hilarious in the portrayal of their character traits. Isir, Manal and Rajah the princesses attendants enthralled the audience with their beautiful singing of ‘These Palace Walls’. Prince Abdulah played by Matilda Callaghan and Razoul played by Aoife Quinn-Markey were audience favourites in the portrayal of these characters. Song and dance routines like ‘Never Had A Friend Like Me, ‘Prince Ali’ and High Adventure ensured the audience had a thrilling and magical experience.

Congratulations to our Agrabahns, street sellers and amazing dancers, your long hours of hard work in all rehearsals really paid off! We couldn’t be prouder of you!
