St. Vincent De Paul
The Sacred Heart School has a long association with the St. Vincent De Paul Society stretching back over 20 years. There is a junior conference of the society in the school which is connected with a senior conference, the Martin de Porres conference, in the Holy Family parish. The conference is made up of 5th and 6th year students who attend meetings once a week. They run the conference and organsise Christmas hampers, fund-raising events and speak to the rest of the students about the work of the St. Vincent de Paul society.

Members of the Sacred Heart School's St. Vincent de Paul Junior Conference, presented a cheque for 800 euro to Mr. Joe Sweeney, a member of the senior conference based in Holy Family parish. The money was raised over the course of the previous year as a result of a number of fund raising events. Thanks to all who supported their endeavours.
