Some words from our Principal Ms. Mary Caffrey......
"Our school ethos is based on the Mercy/C.E.I.S.T. beliefs and gospel values of love, care and trust. Our philosophy of education is to enable our girls to achieve their full potential, to foster their leadership abilities and to develop their awareness and sensitivity to the needs of others in their community with particular emphasis on social justice. We provide opportunities for students to develop their confidence and communication skills and so learn to value themselves. Our students have consistently achieved great academic success, winning many entrance scholarships, awards and scoring above the OECD and national average in the recent Programme for the International Student Assessment (P.I.S.A). The girls also excel on the sports field- national basketball champions 2006 and in the arts, music and drama. Our school is a happy place where each girl has a sense of belonging and is valued by both staff and students alike.
