Sport's Day

The Sacred Heart sport's day was held on the 28th of May. The girls participated in sprints, long distance races, tug o' war, football and many more events. St. Martha's class organised a funfair this year as part of their CSPE action project. The funfair consisted of a sponge throw, fortune telling, face-painting, ball throw, go fish and a raffle. The funfair was extemely successful and very much enjoyed by teachers and students alike. The highlight for many was getting the chance to throw wet sponges at the teachers for all the homework given throughout the year! The winners of the races were presented with medals. Thanks to Ms Corboy, Ms Mullins and Ms Stafford for their help organising this wonderful event.

Second Year Trip

The second year students went on a trip to Tanagh Adventure Centre in Monaghan during the last week of school. They participated in many activities throughout the day including an assault course, mud slide, and boating. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their day despite the mucky conditions! Thanks to Ms. Corboy, Ms Mullins and the second year form teachers for organising and participating in this trip.
