Parents' Council

The Parents’ Council, established in 1974 provides support for the Board of Management, staff and pupils. Approximately 40 parents are involved in the Parents' Council. Each district in the town and surrounding areas are represented by one or more parents. Over the years the Parent’ Council has been involved in many fund raising projects which have contributed greatly to the school’s facilities. The Parents' Council are also involved in other school activities such as the 10 week draw, the school musical, the graduation service and the school flag days. Mrs. Susan McKeown is the current chairperson of the Parents' Council.
