Carlingford Bonding Trip 2011
The Transition year bonding trip took place on Friday 9th September and Saturday 10th. The Transition year students travelled to Carlingford to participate in range of activities that would help them get to know one another better and give them the opportunity to work together as a team.
They particiapated in team building challenges, where they had to work as a team in order to earn gems. These gems were counted up at the end of the trip to reveal an overall winning team. They also participated in raft building, playing blind man’s buff in the dark at night in the forest and zorbing. Zorbing involves two students being strapped in an inflatable ball and rolling downhill together.
On Saturday, the girls got involved in Lazer combat in the forest where the class were split into two teams; the red and blue teams, one headed by Ms Mullins and the other, Ms Lynch...it all got a bit competitive...but the blue team were the overall winners much to the delight of Ms. Lynch! The girls thoroughly enjoyed their trip in Carlingford this year
