Ceiliuradh CEIST in the Sacred Heart began with some of our first year students, Ms. Carroll (Principal), Ms. Lynch (Deputy Principal), our school secretary Mandy and some of our teaching staff, Ms. O’Hara and Ms.Haran lighting our CEIST candle in our front hall. We then raised the CEIST flag outside the school. At lunchtime along with the help of our caretaker Stephen, students planted four fruit trees in the school garden. The school community will enjoy plums, pears and apples from the newly planted trees next autumn.
