The TY Sustainability Team took part in a Trocaire documentary making competition. The competition is called The Right Focus, focusing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Ms Mulligan supported and guided six TY students as they made an environmental documentary called “Got Pollution, be the Solution” focusing on their campaign to make our school more sustainable. Well done to Aoife Quinn Markey, Hazel Carthy, Sophie Herbert, Sophie Everitt, Abisola Makun and Niamh Leonard for all their hard work. Thank you to Ms. Lynch and Ms. Fox for their interview that is included in the documentary.
The documentary has been nominated to go forward to the finals of the competition which will take place in the Helix, on the 22nd of May 2023. We wish the students and Ms Mulligan the very best of luck in the finals.
