Our 6th year LCVP students enjoyed a trip to Irish Cement on Monday.
The purpose of the visit was to learn about a local Enterprise. The girls got an extremely insightful on-site visit. They learned about the companies contribution to the local community, its origins, its focus on sustainability, and the environment. They got to see health and safety in action. It was very much a cross-curricular visit with elements of geography, science, and business explored during the visit. A big thank you to Irish Cement for facilitating the visit.
